LEARNING TO WALK

I'm sorry I have been away from the blog world for so long. I have been way too busy to blog. I have furniture to chew on, paper to shred, and squirrels to chase. But today was such a big day for me...at least that is what momma says. Somethin' about today I went little potty differently than I usually do. I'm not quite sure what the bid deal is; I just lifted my leg a little. But momma is making such a big deal about it, saying its like I learned to walk or something. She keeps telling me I'm not a puppy anymore b/c I lifted my leg. She's crazy!

Kissin' Cousins

I's so excited! Last night I finally got to meet my cousin Rowan! Momma and I went to stay out at Uncle Scott and Aunt Abby's house so Rowan and I could play, play, play. We had so much fun. She chased me all around the house, grabbed my shirt, and tried to pounce on me a few times. Then I chased Rowan and pounced on her. We jumped on and off of the furniture, ran from room to room, made lots of noise while Momma, Aunt Abby and Uncle Scott just laughed and laughed at us. They were so surprised at how fast we are and how much energy we have. Duh, we are puppies! I bet Rowan slept as good as I did! I can't wait to play with her again.

LET IT SNEAUX!

Most cajun pups don't get to see sneaux, but I's special! Yesterday it snowed in New Orleans. Yes, you heard me right. Momma couldn't believe it. She was so excited to take me out to see my first snow. I wasn't quite sure what to think of it but I ate it anyway.

This was our first trip outside. I didn't like it much and wanted to go back inside.

What is that cold white stuff on the bush I like to sniff?

Hmmm...I can EAT this?!?!

Okay Momma, I'm done with this. My paws are cold.

Momma made me go out in this???

DONE!

Momma is done with her stupid exams and I couldn't be happier. I have been so bored the past few weeks. Momma quit crating me for a while and she thought that I was being so good in her room for hours at a time all by myself. She didn't even notice until the other day that I had chewed up her dresser drawer handles. Duh momma. Thats what you get for leaving me alone for so long. What is a pup to do?

Momma was such a grouch and so boring during exams but I tried to get her to play anyway. My favorite game was 'Catch Me If You Can'! I would grab momma's pen, highlighter or whatever she was working with when she wasn't looking and run off with it. Then Momma would chase me around the house and around and around and around the coffee table. Once I got Momma's glasses and ran around with those for a while. Then, a few days later, I got a hold of them and chewed them to pieces. Momma can't wear them anymore. Here are a few pics of our fun game!

Me with Momma's glasses. Don't I look studious!

I loooove Momma's markers!

Tis the Season...Exam season that is

I'm sorry I haven't written in a while. Momma has been keeping me couped up and won't let me on the computer much these days. She seems real busy and in a bad mood. Something about a bunch of tests that she has and she says she doesn't know anything...although I don't know why. She should since she is never home anymore and always at the dumb library. Anyway, she feels real guilty so she quit putting me in my crate when she leaves and now I have full roam of her bedroom. I've been real good though. I haven't gotten into anything that I am not supposed to. But maybe that is b/c momma pics everything up before she leaves. My favorite thing to do while she is gone, besides howl at the top of my lungs, is to get all of my toys out of my toy basket and spread them around the room. Then momma comes home and picks them all up and puts them back in the basket. And then she leaves and I get to do it all over again.

Momma promises that we will have lots of fun playtime when her dumb tests are over. I can't wait. I'm getting really bored...

Bou's Boo...

I's sick. My tummy hurts and I can't stop shaking. Last night I went to bed with momma. I slept for a little while and then woke her up. I got sick four times on her bed. I was whining so she would let me down but she didn't wake up in time. Then she put me in my crate and I's got sick again. And again. And I just laid there and shook. Poor me. Momma felt so bad. Then she let me out of my crate to clean it and I's got sick on her floor. I's never been sick like this before. Momma was a little worried so she took me to the doctor. But it took so long to get there that I's got a little carsick and got sick in the car. We got to the doggie hospital and they poked and prodded me. I didn't like that so much. Why would you poke on a little doggie's tummy when you know it hurts? I was wishing they would leave me alone. I kept looking at them with my sad Bou eyes but they kept wanting to touch me. Then they took me back and put me on this funny x-ray machine. They wanted to make sure that nothing I've eaten, like acorns and such, were stuck in my tummy. Luckily there was none of that; I's just sick. So after all that prodding, they gave me a shot with a lot of fluid in it. Since they won't let me eat or drink for a while, I guess they wanted to fill me up. And they shot some stuff in me to make my tummy feel better. I's still sick today but I think the worst is over. Poor me. :(

The dog ate my homework

Y'all know that old saying. You probably tried to use it once or twice in third grade. But momma gets to use it all of the time! You wouldn't believe the fun I have ripping apart her papers. Just this morning I got into a huge stack of papers that she has been working on from her evidence class. You know, she has been spending so much time with those dumb papers and not enough time with me so I thought I'd just get rid of them. That should solve the problem! Also, since momma doesn't put her name inside of her school books, I decided to mark them for her so she would know they were hers in case she ever lost them. So all of her books have my little Bou bites on the corners. I'm such a thoughtful pooch....
